this 15 year old i met at my old job IM'ed me today and asked me if it was legal to take somebody's car if it's been left alone for over 24 hours. and i mean he didn't know who's car it was, he had no keys to the car, nothing. i shoulda told him yes he could and then called the police immediately afterwards. oh well, maybe next time.

he asked me this question and i was just like "........uh dude...... that's grand theft auto." then he really got my suspicion aroused so i asked him what the fuck he was planning to do with it and he said "i dunno....... title it..... maybe change the vin number."

now correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't the vin number ENGRAVED INTO THE CAR???

the reason being is because someone parked this car in his mother's boyfriend's private lot, and it's been sitting there unlocked for over a day or 2 now. so his brilliant 15 year old mind thought that he could claim the car abandoned and take it for himself. i wanted to fuckin reach through my screen and slap the living fuck out of him.

and this isn't the first stupid thing he's said to me. when i first met him we were talking about Dimmu Borgir, and i mentioned other really good black metal bands like Emperor and he said "never heard of Emperor, and Dimmu Borgir isn't black metal." so i said "ok genius, name some black metal bands then."
