This just in: Kim Bendix Petersen (A.K.A. King Diamond) will be taking over New York City's Best Buy Theater on Tuesday, October 14th! How do we know that this show is definitely happening? Well, we just called the venue a few minutes ago and they confirmed that this concert is happening and that tickets will be available on Friday, June 20th at 12 PM ET.
What makes this concert extra special is that it will be the first time that KD performs in U.S. soil following his six-year touring hiatus due to King's health issues. The only other concert in the U.S. that KD has confirmed is an appearance at this year's Fun Fun Fun Fest, that will include their full European festival production stage set up. This concerts mark the band's first scheduled North American appearance since 2005.
As you may recall, this past December, the band signed a NEW three-album worldwide deal with Metal Blade Records, so expect a NEW album soon!
