Didn't find out about this band until years later when I already hated Shadows Fall's guts

xmikex- you might be thinking of 11 Inch Stormtrooper. They were the first band to hit the stage at the first NEMHF. But they were old school hardcore, not dm- we keep talking about a reunion; I even learned the guitar parts for the reunion but it never seems to come to pass year after year. You could be right about Tyrant Troopers, however. I'll do some research.

Update: Tyrant Trooper is from Milldale, CT.

Yeah Tyrant Trooper was CT, pre 100 Demons.

And Lachrymator is super underrated for old MA. Great great band.

Tyrant Trooper was fucking fantastic. Rick is the only one from Trooper in 100 Demons and he was the other guitarist in the Mercyful Fate tribute band you saw, Blue. Jay from Capharnaum recorded a few songs for a follow-up to "Insane Sickness" that never came out. I gotta get my hands on that.
