I know if all I played was "hardcore" or "metal" or "emo" or whatever i'd get bored. I just right music with parts, themes, etc that I like. I think it's worse to write music you don't like just to make sure you stay in line with a "style".

These kind of threads should be banned. All it does is start shit. I don't like any new form of hardcore (I like the old stuff) but I don't complain or fight about it. People should just let this war die out.

i'm so sick of these threads too. i don't like most hardcore but i don't have a problem with people who listen to it. it's just music. love it, be passionate about it, but don't take it so seriously.
