LOL @ bands bringing security with them to a venue.
Why is this so funny? In addition to showing up 7 hours before your set, selling 175 tickets, performing for 15 minutes,and getting the fuck out, bands should certainly be responsible for their own security guards.
Dave, Bernie, and Howie Howe before them -- it's all the same scumbag that preys on teenagers trying to be rockstars.
I also enjoy the fact that one of the promoters insists in the comments that it wasn't a battle of the bands. I'm sure the press just naturally assumed that there were the typical 27 bands on one of Dave's shows it was a battle of the bands.
