I like Municipal Wastes first couple of albums and they do put on a good live show but I feel like they play in Mass. all the time. Exhumed were horrible when I saw them at the Palladium not too long ago.

I've seen Municipal Waste three times now(Palladium twice, and back in June in Albany NY) and they're always fun. Their new album is terribly mediocre but they only played two songs off it in June so I can't imagine they'd play much off it in October, especially if they're opening.
Was that the Exhumed / Goatwhore show? A friend was trying to get me to go to that, but I ended up deciding to see Cynic and Scale the Summit the night before instead.
MW is wack..i dont really follow ND that much but I would probably enjoy them live...and I feel like Exhumed always kill it when I see them live though I havent seen them the past couple times they've come around so maybe that has changed?
Exhumed would be cool to see. I don't give a damn about ND after the 80s and HATE Barney Greenway's vocals anyway. I hope MW isn't really headlining this tour like the poster I saw for it suggested; completely undeserved.

I hope they are, so I can watch ND and Exhumed and then leave.
I can't fucking stand that goddamn band. Don't they have an album called 'the art of partying'? Fucking christ.

The Art of Partying is a terrible fucking album. That band is long past the point of being relevant whatsoever. I'm pretty sure Landphil wasn't in the band before the Earache days and he's also the mastermind behind Cannabis Corpse... I'm just gonna blame him for all this bullshit.

MW - sucks, best show was when they played with Hirax because at times there were more people there for Hirax than MW
ND - one of the best live bands you'll ever see but i'm never inspired to buy more albums
Exhumed - Got played out 5 years ago and it's hilarious to see everyone tote them as a legit 2nd coming of greatness. first album is still the best.
Vektor - only reason worth going but they'd only play 4 amazingly intricate complex epic songs. still waiting for them to write back about doing a one off 1 hour set up here.
MW - at Elks was awesome.
ND - have been killing it for years. Last handful of records were pretty impressive as far as the style.
Exhumed - their last record was amazing and set a tone for all the bands who were making their "return" the past two years. Still rock it on the regular and definitely still one of their best.
Municipal Waste - I saw them in a loft on their first tour and they were a blast. Every time I have seen them since people go crazy. I have not been interested in their last three cd's though. Maybe they could change my mind but I doubt it.
Napalm Death - Utilitarian is one of the best releases so far this year. I am looking forward to seeing them again.
Exhumed - They are good. I don't get where all this 'has been' stuff is coming from. Gore Metal was great. Slaughtercult was great. Anatomy was good, but I don't listen to it much. The Platters of Splatter comp is awesome. They were great at MDF and they'll be good to see again.
Vektor - Outer Isolation was one of the best albums last year. I have been dying to see them since it came out.
After listening to some Vektor songs now, I think I'll try and catch this tour at the El 'n' Gee and leave after Exhumed. It is closer than Boston after all...
Of the current members of Napalm Death...who has been in the band the longest? They are sort of like the Soft Machine of grind...and that's not meant as disrespect, just that even by the early 90's there were no original members left in the band...

The demo and the second album have NO members in common. So as of 'From Enslavement,' there are no original members. As of now, fat tumbleweed Shane is the longest-running member, joined for the second album.
There's also a Municipal Waste / Napalm Death / Exhumed / Vektor show in New London CT on October 28th, same price.
Figured i'd post that in case that's more convenient for anyone.
Yeah, you know, because I didn't already mention the El 'n' Gee at least twice in this thread...
40 minutes vs. an hour. Whatever.

Exhumed was on every tour imaginable years ago, to the point you just didn't want to see them anymore; they were the original Goatwhore and that's the bottom line. INB4 OMG Dekapitator is better.
Is there any Gore Grind worth mentioning from a new band in the past 5 years?

Pfft Exhumed, a tale from the archives.
2002, Newbury Comics at City Hall Plaza Boston.
My girlfriend and I are browsing the metal section, she picks up Slaughtercult and starts giggling, then laughing really loud at the band photos on the back of the jewel case. She shows it to me saying, "Their mom must be really mad they wasted all that Hawaiian Punch" I laugh, "What a bunch of fags!" and we get kicked out of Newbury Comics.
