so last night i decided to walk down to the honey farms at the end of my street for a late night snack, and while i was walking home a couple of jungle bunnies walked up behind me and planted handguns firmly against my skull. they took everything i had...$5 and my ipod.
I got held up a couple years ago by a couple of handguns on that backstreet by Jillian's and Landsdowne. $75 bucks and probably my phone would have been gone if my friends didn't pull up to say hi.
They tried to run the guys over after they took off, but alas, failed.
I no longer carry cash on me.
yeah, the shitty thing was i bumped into my friends at honey farms, and they offered me a ride home, i declined cause i live right up the street.....30 seconds later....pistols at dawn.
once they let me go and got into their car and started turning around i did a hundred yard sprint that would have rivaled anything Usain Bolt has ever done trying to get their plates before i went back into honey farms and told the dude to call the cops. the quote of the day also came out of this

buddy of mine got held at gun point by Fields Corner in Boston a while back. He gave the guy an 8th of weed and he took off with a shit eating grin on his face, little did he know my friend was carrying an extra oz haha.
i've survived multiple tours of combat in iraq,only to nearly have my brains splattered all over the place for $5 and an ipod full of white power music, on the street that i've called home for nearly 20 years.
I wonder what the criminal mentality is for who to rob and who not to rob?

add the guns my dad has and we are well prepared for the zombie apocalypse

your right though, when i came home for R&R from iraq i went to a gun shop to eye some pistols, they wouldnt let me handle them because i didnt have an LTC...apparently my active duty military ID wasnt good enough. i was like "so let me get this straight, last week i was carrying an M249 with me 24/7 but you wont let me touch that unloaded handgun?!"

i've never been robbed on the countless walks i've done while living in Worcester, but there have been situations where i took a side road because it certainly looked like it would have been the case. most of the time i relied on my appearance to hopefully deter such a thing, but even then some situations were very sketchy.
I was, actually. I went to Boston Latin Academy, honor roll, was doing well, then i met a bunch of white ruffians, and my whole world went to shit. hhmmm...

Sucks man. I grew up a couple streets over on Barclay. Worst that ever happened was our cars were broken into a few times over the course of 16 years. I used to sneak out of my house in the middle of the night and wander around to soothe my insomnia. I survived. The neighborhood really isn't all THAT bad.
