Trauma Concept and whoever was on after them weren't very good.
Bane of Existence played another killer set, whoever was after them was horrible. I think they were called Since the Flood.
Burial was fucking great, I need them to come play in Boston.
All that Remains was pretty good, Mastodon was fucking amazing. Suffocation was okay, I watched part of their set then went outside to flyer. All the other bands were horrible.
I met the bassist from Suffocation early on, he looks like Jake Busey, and we were making fun of Satyricon together.

actually it was obriens and boe was gonna headline anyway what happends was they got an offer to open for suffocation in ct with a shit ton of other bands so they took it honestly i think i would have too
if it makes anyone happy i was talking to one of the guys with my bassist and he said the kinda got dicked on the ct show and they shoulda have kept the boston date

BOE - slow start but treal good got going towards the end of the set. this band would be so sick with 2 guitar player2
STF - lots of energy. i guess when you play whole notes on open frets you have time and energy to expell into the crowd. good drummer. boring music. reminded me of death threat.
burial - from the hype i thought they would be better. they were ok though
100 demons - lots of energy. didnt do much for me
full blown chaos - metalcore-ific the best metalcore of the night
seemless - just about put me to sleep.
the red chord - 3rd time seeing this band and while they are technicaly excellent i just cant get into it
all that remains - realy fucking good. why so many whiny parts on their new shit? he cant even sing.
MASTODON - i waited for about 7 hours just to see mastodon. FUCKING GREAT. i wish i just went at whatever time they played.
suffocation - i left after mastodon.
overall this show sucked. i had a very boring time. weak turnout. no crowd response. mike hsu talking between every band. lame.
after the show i sat in a taco bell drive thru line for 20 fucking minutes. |
