DONT: hand out demos to random people unless you're okay with them throwing them away immediately after

DO: make demos and play gigs...after gig, if people ask for one, GIVE IT.

DONT: Make demos. Music is a waste of time and a popularity contest. Nobody cares about your band until you're on a label and everyone is just gonna lie about having your demo anyways.

DO: Counter every music argument with "only the demo is real." No one will ever question you on it because music "fans" live in mortal fear of having to admit they haven't heard of something.
