its got every issue of the zine which is awesome to have all compiled neatly...

in between each issue has a little diary style entry by Metalion about his life etc at the time of that issue...

dude was wicked close to Euronymous and Dead right from the beginning and super involved in Helvette and the murders etc. An interesting perspective that you dont get from from Lord of Chaos or the internet or whatever.

All around totally worth it if you dig this kind of shit.

Josh, its a breeze to read. 80% of it is the zine which you can just read bits and pieces of here and there on the shitter or whatever.

Its a cool coffee table style book that you can just pick up and put down whenever...always something new to read.

It is worth every penny. Not just for the black metal. It has every issue of the fanzine inside. I love just flipping through it when the tv is on

Very true. While SLAYER has the reputation of being a black metal mag, in reality Metallion interviewed and reviewed bands of almost every sub-genre. This book is one of the best metal history lessons one could ever get.
