That's up for debate, I think they are both awesome. II had better levels but I feel like III is just an upgrade of II with more characters to choose from..

MKII had better fatalities, despite III having more to choose from. in II the gore factor was better, the pit fatality was better, and Kung Lao's hat fatality was superb. only turning into Kintaro is real.

most of the time yes, but MKIII did have some badass characters. i don't care what anyone says, Stryker was awesome.
