I get that a lot of people get turned off by "the drama," whatever that means, of RTTP life. But if you're in a "metal" band why wouldn't you want to interact with the people you're going to be playing shows with, the people that are going to be listening to your music, the people you're going to be borrowing gear from, and apologizing to when you pretend to get stuck in traffic but really you just think you're too good to play 3rd.
To me it comes off as just a little bit unfriendly, a little bit ignorant, and a little bit poser-ish to try and bypass RTTP. |

Slumlord beauty is a shitty metalcore band.
Rout has members from Boston and Providence so to say they are a Providence band is silly. There are a bunch of awesome Providence bands that most of you have never heard of.
Does hoof even play shows?
Nemecide is terrible.
Most of the bands in the lulzy NEMU would fall under this category. |

Rout claims to be from Providence. Thusly, I'm going to say they're from Providence. Doesn't take away from the fact that they're an excellent band that deserves a whole bunch of exposure. |
