The last Metal night I went to @ River Gods was horrible. Mostly top 40's garbage was played. Do not entry.

but on the plus side, they DO have Bellhaven on tap.

I've DJ'd a few nights there, a couple of soul ones, once did a "country and jazz" night at the bar's request which was a weird mix, and just had a "power pop and 60's beat" night last week that was pretty fun. The fact that they don't pay the DJ's makes it easy to relax and not give a fuck and just play what you feel.

I'll try to make it out to this, and am down to DJ on this sometime if you need/want somebody. Candlemass vinylz will be flossed.

Cool man. Metal is new for the bar. The "top 40" the guy above was talking about must of been one of the first 2 nights i did this where I didn't want to scare the bar with the non stop screaming and shredding so i mixed in some Swans, bauhaus, Tom Waits, misfits, Kris Kristofferson and other sorts of stuff. I think I have gathered enough faith to crank it up now.

I'd like to take you up on being a co-DJ. By singularly citing Candlemass I feel like you'd be a good fit. My partner is coming from PVD and it might not awys work for him. Grab my attention at the bar, I'm the one with short hair.
