a lot of people concider alot of different types of music doom. i myself concider old theatre of tragedy, my dying bride, morgion, shape of despair, novembers doom and those type bands to be doom. i still havent heard conifer but would like to?

I guess Devil To Pay could be compared to Down, but I hate Down and really like Devil To Pay.
Conifer is not like down at all. Noosebomb "sounds like GRIEF injecting caffeine into their veins while drinking beers with CELTIC FROST" according to Unearthly Trance, I would agree with that.
Hellblok6 is probably the band you would like the best on this line up. I haven't heard Cable or PA Connection yet, I will try to get the guy who booked this to post about them if I can.

to me, there are 2 types of doom. the metal doom (shroud, shape of despair, mdb) and the 'stoner' or 'sludge' doom (grief, conifer, etc). both great in my opinion.

you should get Cable from CT. they rule and are along the same lines if you are thinking stoner.
