SOUTH BERWICK, Maine — The body of a boy found in South Berwick over the weekend has been identified as Camden Pierce Hughes, 6, of Texas.

Massachusetts State Police took his mother into custody Wednesday morning at a rest area off I-495 southbound in Chelmsford, Mass.

The mother, Julianne McCrery, of Irving, Texas, has reportedly confessed to involvement in the death of her young son.
