Anyone else have Wormrot liked on Facebook? Those pictures of them playing to kids in Vietnam rocking out in Slipknot and Cradle of Filth shirts are classic.

at least that's better than the south korean black metal crowd:
Scale the Summit and Periphery are nasty. Don't know that other band.
But those bands tour the US frequently, Wormrot are coming from SINGAPORE. Not to be missed.
Pretty much my thoughts. Although Periphery, I hated the drum sound on their full-length. And a lot of the vocals. But Bulb's awesome. And Jeff Loomis's guest solo on Racecar = WIN.
So, is this one of those April Fool's Day shows where everyone thinks a bunch of good metal bands are playing, but really, you booked The Bee Gees, The Village People, Justin Bieber, and Vanilla Ice? That would be hilarious.
Most established local band last, Two touring bands in the "prime" slots, after that it was more or less arranged in order of who's been around longest.
no one gets to shows on time so odds are it will start late and I'm guessing the 2 touring bands might have longer than 30 minute sets. plus a 5 hour show is a 5 hour show whether it ends at 12 or 2. bar will do fine.
Also, it's been my experience that the bulk of attendance for shows doesn't arrive til 10 or 11. But I guess it's not really my place to speak, I am sure the show will do fine.

This
People usually don't come out that early to oasis. its Worcester, people dont leave early to take the train home
ITT: the first three bands play in front of no one
why don't you guys start the show earlier so none of the bands play in front of anyone. who's fucking bright idea was it to have bands start at 730. fucking dumb asses
Maybe I can get my sister down there and we can fill the remaining time doing Lady Gaga and Britney Spears covers.

maybe I'm just getting too old, but I would love the fact that this starts "early" if I wasn't working till 8 with an hour+ drive to Worcester...early shows are awesome
cant wait to rage at this show tonight, fuck work. really hoping the snow isnt going to have a huge effect on the drive to Worcester, really dont want to miss any of Living Void's set.

waking up early after a late show definitely blows, but im not a fan of rushing around to get to an early show either.

Crazy awesome shit. Wish I was up for the 3 hour drive for this.
where are you from? they are playing in Boston tomorrow if you cant make it out tonight.
Oh woops I thought they were playing Boston tonight. I'm from Albany. So I guess Worcesters only like 2 hours from me. Whatevs. I can't really make it anyway and i'm just blaming it on the drive.
per current promoter guidelines, he will not show up until after the show starts. please refer to my comment about 'the biz' and how it works.

im not pointing fingers, or complaining that the show is starting too early. its not mike's fault that he is working another job and cant show up untill 8pm.
but dont you think it would have been a good idea to check with the venue that the start time of this show was going to allow staff being present for such duties as controlling the sound board? im sure Sullivan or someone will have to come in and take care of it, so all in all no disaster to be averted or anything. just needed some follow through between the promoter and the venue in my opinion, like actually asking if a 730 start time was ok with the venue, and if they would have said staff in place.
seems to be Mike didnt even know this show was starting that early until he saw the set times posted in this thread.
Also, only people that know sully and I are allowed to touch that PA because we learned the hard way that people are idiots and/or inconsiderate assholes.
Tony may have to do it since he will be the only person there early enough. Sully will have the mics set up so its really just setting kick and voc volumes. The mains will be set where they need to be without clipping.

WORMROT - worchester show @ club oasis - apologies
by Wormrot on Friday, April 1, 2011 at 7:43pm
Wormrot are really sorry for not showing up at the show in worchester @ club oasis - "Our van was towed at 7.29am this morning by philadelphia parking authority. The parking sign indicated no parking from 8.30 am mon-fri... but they towed the van before the restricted time. And when we went to the PPA and make the payment for fine, they still would not let us have the van due to the mismatch of the registration name on paper and on their system - fuckers!... we have to get a tow truck to tow our van back where we parked it. Seriously it's a alot of bullshit! And then after they released the van, they took off the licence plates front and back. By the time we had our van back towed to the promoter's house, it was already 2pm... and we can't drive out of pennsylvania with no licence plate... we're stuck here in Philadelphia.. our tour manager has made some back up plans for us to be driven on another van but only available tomorrow... We'll update more as soon as we can..." - azean rot
