Full rack of Pork ribs, THE MEAT FELL OFF THE BONE

RIB RUB
for 1 Full Rack beef or pork
1 tbs sugar
1 tbs chili powder
1 tbs cumin
1 tbs cinnamon/sugar combo
2 tbs paprika
1/2 tbs ground red cayenne
3/4 tbs garlic powder
1/2 tbs Season All
1/2 tbs ground black pepper

Rinse rack, pat dry
Apply a crap load of rub, and RUB IT IN YO
Cover and fridge it for at least an hour
TO COOK
1.Light grill on one side only and put ribs(bone down) on the non heat side at 300
2.Cook for 30 minutes, monitor so ribs don't burn, flip and cook for 15 minutes
3.Put ribs in foil with a cup or so of apple cider, cover tightly and put back on grill
Cook at 350 for 30-45 minutes
4.Remove from grill and foil
Cover in Sweet Baby Rays original BBQ sauce (or whatever sauce you like)
Grill on the non heat side lower than 275 if possible
I put a layer of foil under the grill grate so the sauce doesn't make a mess
5.Go in and preheat the oven for 200 degrees
6.Cook on grill for 15 minutes, flip and reapply BBQ for 15 minutes
7.Remove from grill
Put more sauce on da ribs, wrap tightly in foil
8.Put in oven for at least an hour

That sounds way good. Though of course I'm envisioning it with seitan. I concocted something really tasty the night before last.

Chop up a couple cloves of garlic, throw it in with oh, say 1/3rd cup of watered down tamari or some braggs liquid aminos, a couple tablespoons of nutritional yeast or brewers yeast (not active yeast, you douche), a tablespoon of maple syrup, something hot like cayenne, though I used chili paste. Mix.

Deep fry some seitan for 2-3 minutes at 250º, let it cool for a minute, then toss it in tupperware with the above mixture until evenly coated.

I boiled some rice then threw it in a wok with some vegetables, and served the seitan on top of that.

I suppose it could work with ribs or something too.
