Anyone get it yet?

Review?

What is the wheeedallly wheeeee to crush ratio?

Just sort of skimmed through it on the myspace.

I dunno if I like it. It's obviously extremely well done, but there were only a few parts that made me think "holy shit!".

Mostly, it sounded like a continuation of the direction they took with Xenosapian, which has it's moments.

Def. going to pick it up.

Xenosapian took some time to sync in, so I'm guessing this will be no different.

don't you mean "sink in"? ....... While "sync in" almost works, i think it still ends up failing.

I also LOVE Xenosapian. And i think it plays better live then their other stuff did.

I believe you mean "than".

MSD JUST OWNED YAW ASS

I like this new one better than Xenosapien since it sounds like they're taking their newer, more technical and polished death metal approach and mixing it with some of the more unorthodox elements of the old stuff. It's far from beating Conforming To Abnormality, Exploiting Dysfunction or Lucid Interval in my eyes though.

This release really disappointed me. It's not really that much like Xenosapien at all, it doesn't have half of the energy. Hopefully this is not the direction the band will continue in. On the whole it is cookie-cutter, bland, and not the Cephalic I know and love. Pardon me while I put on Conforming and reminisce on simpler times with more complex mind-blowingness.

Listening again.

About 2/3 thru, and so far the only song that's really done anything for me so far is "Abraxas of Filth".

Warbots A.M. and Dimensional Modulation Transmography are standouts. I do agree they dumbed down a little but it still kicks ass.
