Yep. There are probably a few dozen sci-fi writers I'd read before Bradbury anyday. I liked 451 but all the short stories I've read by him are pretty middle of the road.

It just sucks because now Vonnegut seems to be kind of a fall back for the hipsters who need to fill their bookshelves and pretend to read just because "nerdiness" is apparently a hip thing right now.

He is (was) a hilarious bastard, though. And a great story teller. And he's got them there good ideas sometimes.
