"I went to France for this show. Complete fucking shambles.
They spent so much time fannying about that they started half an hour late and to an angry, tired crowd (we'd already been watching bands for 12 hours by this point. Didn't help that The Young Gods, who were on before them, only played about 15 minutes before the power cut out.). He couldn't use the vocal effects that he wanted either because they were causing crazy feedback.
If they'd turned up on time, with working equipment and delivered the same performance I'm sure it would have gone down infinitely better. All that fucking about just completely dissolved the tension and excitement that had built up about the show."
