Because it's not about an epic buildup. Grind is equal parts punk and metal. So asking why grind songs are so short is like asking why punk songs are so short. It's just about blowing your load in a quick burst of aggression and being done with it. I've heard people make the argument to me before that short songs like this have no content. I tell those people I disagree, the songs simply have no filler, and the content is played at a much faster pace.
thanks for sending this to me nick. sounds awesome. only criticism i have is that the drummer tends to be a little off on the tempo sometimes. not really a huge deal if you're going for the "i don't care" punk outlook on things. but hey you wanted some feedback and there it is. otherwise sounds great and i'm looking forward to see you guys rage in person again.
yeah I noticed on "life support", the song with the infest backing vox that george slows down a good amount in the beginning. We're going for a mix of raw but still heavy, whatever that means

He can't be slower than me. That's for sure. I only do doom blasts.
