cannibal corpse does have a reputation of repition in most of their music but they've made a name for themselves in death metal for the past 20 years, you gotta give em credit, but i probably wouldn't buy one of their CD's. Im not into godzilla's asshole singing. And lyrics about fucking dead babies tends to get old after awhile

I can take them in small doses. Their old cds are classick, Gore Obsessed was pretty good because it seemed to have more agression and less technicality. Everything in between I can't stand.

I dont think anything on TOmb of the Mutilated sounds like anything on bloodthirst. I dont think eaten back to life sounds like gallery. Its brutal death with tons of heavy riffs and blasts, so I can see why you would think that. I guess you love it or hate it.

i wasnt really into them for awhile but their last tour really brought me back to them and realize how many classic songs they have. Ill see them everytime they come here but ill doubt ill be buying any more albums

cannible is great.Cum on, they got awesome riffs. So paul isnt blasting really fast and a zillion fills, but he plays what the song requires. Some of there riffs are pretty crazy, so i dont mind his less is more approach.

I would say about 49 out of their 50 albums are a waste of time. the only reason they are still around is to sell t-shirts.
