Problem could have been averted if EV technology wasn't being suppressed and the ones coming out weren't expensive but that's ok, these CEOs need to maintain their bloated incomes.
Well, you'd still need the oil to make the plastic parts... unless they can make cars out of soy... which they probably can. Oh well. Speaking of suppressed/forgotten tech, Tesla had some interesting, and apparently well working ideas for free energy.
