I'm looking to turn this solo "project" into a full band. I already have someone interested in guitar and a place in Lunenburg, MA where we can practice for free. Tabs are available for the first two songs on the myspace on request, but I'm also very open to other people's involvement in the writing process.
I'm hoping to create a sound that is epic, melodic (but still abrasive) and reminiscent of space without coming off as pretentious or decidedly "post-metal." Rosetta and Russian Circles are influences but I am not aiming to copy their sounds or styles.
The only requirements I guess would be to have reliable transportation and equipment that gets the job done. It would be cool to take this live at some point, so the more experience the better.
