Our van for the shamrock cost us about 160 including gas. Which, if you don't have enough vehicles for the equipment, is really convenient. We get the cargo van from uhual. Totally big enough for boarcorpse/scaphism's equipment together.
Yeah, i'm not saying uhaul is the best way, it just seems to have been for us. But that's probably because the other car we take uses very little gas. How big are the enterprise vans? i don't think i've seen those.
oh, it's like a regular minivan. Well if you can fit all the equipment and all your peeps you should be good with that. With eric having two cabs, and my pa cabs i don't think it would work for us.
i think tom was just talking about the van for the show we are doing in NY on saturday after the 5/20 show we are doing in CT, which is what jimbo was asking for a ride to. brian will be coming with us to the CT show so we will have two cars, plenty of room for gear in both and can get jimbo and evan in brian's car plus some gear
gotta figure out how we will fit the bass drum and 2 people in brians car is the only problem. he's gotta put one of the back seats down to fit it in his trunk

id love to use the bass drum if thats cool, we have no problem bringing my own but if we use yours, we can give jimbo a ride down to the show. i use a rack too, so it will be an easy adjustment. what size is it, 22"?

So? Does that mean i has rides? I'd love to be at this, these are awesome bands, i like the venue, and I have a crush on one of the bartenders. When Boarcorpse played there my toenail (right pinky toe) got ripped off, and i was bleeding profusely. When i asked for a bandaid, the cute girl behind the bar insisted on putting it on my toe for me. Which was awkward to say the least, i had just been playing drums, i'm sure my feet weren't the most pleasant things in the world. But she was more concerned that i was in pain, she was sweet. AND very cute, AND didn't seem stupid.
i havent gotten any info about load in, last time we played it was an hour before "doors" so im gonna guess 7pm. when you pull up to the venue, there is a parking lot next to the bar, but there is a drive way that goes behind the bar (where the deck is in the back) you can park there for load in then find a spot in the parking lot afterwards.
Load in is at 7, like he said pull around the right side of the building and you can load in through the back. we'll have cabs available if anyone needs to use them

I'm thrilled about being able to go to this. Thursday shows in CONN are usually out of the question for me, but i got tomorrow off so BBAAAAAAMMMMM!! (sorry, i'm excited) I <3 Scaphism+Abnormality, Engraved ruled when we played with them 'bout a month ago, and i hear tentacles are good..... and let's be honest, even if they suck, i still get to see three bands i like. Boo ya!
Gonna try to make it. I'm working with feral urban shitwolves 7:45-3 and then doing guitar lessons from 4;30-8. If I'm not falling asleep and emotionally decimated by then, I'm gonna head up. This looks like a grand opportunity to smoke drugs in cars and not watch bands, which I'm pretty into.

this show was ultra mega super awesome. Tentacles fucking owned that place and Abnormality rocked my socks. great vibe, great peoples and an overall great night of metal. whew..
