OD808 = TS10
OD9 = TS808

I use a TS7 (TS9 circuit with the "Hot" switch added, and a different enclosure) modded to TS808 specs, and then with a few additional tweaks of my own, to boost a VHT Deliverance 60.

I RUN MY GUITAR THROUGH A HALOGEN LIGHT BULB, THROUGH AN OLD MEMOREX TAPE REEL PLAYER TO MY OLD AMP THAT WAS BUILT ONLY WITH TUBES. TO TURN IT ON I INSERT A KEY.

I just got a $40 Electro Harmonix LPB-1. So far sounds great with my smaller amps. Have yet to try it boosting my JMP though. Will try and report back once I do so.

For the past year or so, I've been using a Fulltone OCD. Great pedal, but it does alter the tone a bit, so if you're looking for truly transparent boosting, it might not be the ticket.

industry standard for guitar seems ts808.

lpb1 or an eq is an easy boost as well. My guitarist just got the MXR 10 band I believe, but I haven't been able to witness it yet.

Whatever boost you get, just get it modded. Od-9/808 and ts-9/808 are 4 slightly different flavors of each other. Get it modded for the transparency you want in a boost. I did, never been happier.
