I am getting my 1st laptop in a few weeks and need some advice. What do you folks advise me to get? Is it best to go to a store to get one or are there some really good, reliable websites that have high quality laptops, good deals and such? I will be using the laptop for mainly just the basics of surfing the web, burning tunes, photos, etc. Also my son will be using it for his homeowork and other projects. I am ditching my esoteric desktop I have had for five years. honestly, I am a retard when it comes to computers so any help from you guys would be highly appreciated!
Also, for any of you that work for computer companies and maybe could score me a good deal that would be great too. thanks again.
