New site? Maybe some day.
Hey everyone, I haven't posted here for a while, went and had a kid and all that - blah blah blah - but the band has been doing a lot more this past year, and we're honored to be opening up for Type O Negative this Sunday!
Sunday, October 18 at The Webster Theatre in Hartford, CT
Type O Negative/Suicide Dream
All Ages, 7 pm, $23 through Suicide Dream in advance, $28 everywhere else
We have tickets available for five dollars cheaper than even what the Webster is selling them for in advance when all their service fees are factored in. Contact us for tickets ASAP at (860) 450-1548 at shadowsd@snet.net and save five bucks, plus we have to move a ton of tickets for this so you are supporting local New England metal.
I know some of you will only be making it down to the Worcester show on Saturday and won't be able to stop by, but for those of you who can make it, get in touch with me, and I hope to see a lot of you down there.

I WANT TO GO TO THIS SO BAD!!! but i'm not sure i can make it. |

Retarded question: are you the same shadow that was in perpetual winter? |
No.
I didn't realize there was another Shadow. |

Don't make me type another O. |

Consider those virtual pot smoke rings of coercion. |
No.
I didn't realize there was another Shadow. |
Well congrats on the show.
Yea, there's another Shadow. Used to play guitar in this band from NH called Perpetual Winter. Haven't seen/talked to him in about 5 years, chill dude. |
Thanks.
The name Perpetual Winter sounds very familiar to me, I know I've heard of them, but I don't think we ever crossed paths with them. I've pretty much just been in Suicide Dream, the line-up has been more or less the same since 2001 aside from brief interruptions: Laurel on Vocals/Bass, Myself on Guitar, and Casey on the drums. Early on we also had a second female vocalist who played keyboards, but aside from a couple of fill-in gigs she hasn't been in the line-up since 2004.
That's a cool coincidence, though. |
his first name was actually shadow. if that's yours too then that is quite the coincidence. |
It is (not by birth, but it's functioned as such since high school - so at least a semi-coincidence, I guess).
The fact that he's also a chill dude who plays guitar is the really coincidental part given the name thing. Then again, it's hard to picture someone named Shadow who yells, breathes fire, and plays the ukelele. |
HI I'M SHADOW!!! I BREATH FIRE AND PLAY THE FUCKIN UKELELE!!! DO YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT FUCKERS?!!! |
Well there goes the idea for my side project.
I guess I have to fall back on farting napalm and playing the lute. |
You better turn that practice amp way up sunday. |
last time i saw them he had a half stack. |
Yup, I've had the half stack (Crate Head w/B52 400 Watt Cabinet) for over five years - including at a gig where we played with Rick's band Blackout Frenzy - then again, he was drinking a lot that night to the point where he was going around randomly twisting other dudes' nipples, so maybe he doesn't remember, heh. The gig was at Rox's in Oxford in 2006 and Sac played there, too, as I recall. It was a good time, heard the place is long gone though.
Yup. Rax's is long gone. I haven't had a drink in ten years. |
