New site? Maybe some day.
yea....the van died on the pike and we're sitting in the dark in what we think is charlton
nick was on the phone with aaa and a statie scared the shit out of me and kinda slammed my door in my dface and said he'd take care of the tow...and now we're chilling on the shoulder.....awesome |
anyone wanna by the van for the cost of the tow? |
does the rev not know what AAA is? Who doesnt know that? |
One show to rule them all
Here's to the van holding up for the drive! |
d'oh! |
I'm pretty sure AAA doesn't cover the pike, or something weird like that. |
You are correct sir.
Ended up getting towed to Auburn, and then waiting for a second tow. The whole situation was WILD. Got home at about 4:45A and then to bed at 5:03A.
Holy moly.
Anyway, I'm giving up on selling this thing as it now seems to be more than the transmission involved. I think the trans pushed other things to start breaking down. So automobile donation, here I come! |
sounds like suckfest to me. i dont think i've ever had a good experience with AAA |
Eric and I were almost ritualistically murdered and then raped by the AAA tow guy from Pennsylvania back in August. But we did have a good time dancing to Lisa Lisa and the Cult Jam. |

Last night the dude wanted to make sweet love to my friend. It got creepy fast. |
That van sucked ass.
My first car, so what did I know. |
The highways jammed with broken heroes on a last chance power drive
Everybodys out on the run tonight but theres no place left to hide
AAA doesn't cover toll roads, in so far that the state police won't let our contractors on them, but some of the state contractors accept AAA, so most of the time you are ok
AAA is great if you know what we can do for you, it's only the morons that assume we are the infinite tow genies who will do whatever you want for the low yearly cost of $50 that don't like us |
I'm pretty happy with them overall. I also like the credit card they affiliated themselves with, but that's a whole different story.
My only complaints would be that they claimed that Crew Cab tow trucks didn't exist (they do) and then the tow truck guy, who admittedly was nice, was trying to score with one of my friends. |
most tow truck drivers are cool, some of them are scum of the earth, when my girlfriend's sister broke down in Albany the driver flat out refused to tow her home, said she would need to go to his shop and get a ride home from there (not so subtle rape tactic methinks), had to get her pops on the phone threatening to bust the kids skull before he would do it
and crew cabs definitely exist, but not very many places have them, and the few that do don't always have them available in the middle of the night, still could have tried, I know when Fuck...I'm Dead/TDEBN broke down out here the tow driver let 7 of the 9 people ride on the flatbed in the van, sometimes the drivers dont suck
that being said, the club that covers most of MA kinda sucks, many of their call takers have a perpetual "not my job" complex |
I'm a tow truck driver, we just don't cover anywhere near the pike.
Knowing it being a Dodge van my guess would be the transmission just went, because that's what Dodge's do.
That said, anyone in or around NH should get at me if they ever need towing. |
what if i dont need a tow and just want a ride? |
what if i dont need a tow and just want a ride? |
only if you abide by the rules of the road |
Nick, there is a place that seems to be selling off it's fleet of vans and they look like there in good shape. I forget the name of the company but they are at (I think) 1500 Main st. in Waltham. |
