This is for all the people bitching about Emperor in that other thread.
If you saw Emperor before Y2K, you'll remember their live keyboardist and the mastermind behind Tartaros; one Mr. Charmand Grimloch.
Personally, I don't think IX Equilibrium or Prometheus are bad albums, but Tartaros captures that disorienting and symphonic sound of later Emperor, while still remaining rooted in Black Metal.
Remember listening to this on the way back from MDF and how crazy I was going for it, Mike? Felt that way when the first EP came out (Check out The Heritage From The Past demo as well....fucking awesome) and still do! UNDERRATED band.
Haha, hell yeah, Cody. Once I saw you brought that with you, it had to be played. It did a good job of offsetting the massive amounts of heavy metal being played.
