ya adding another 2 billion dollars more to the national debt while destroying the used car industry is great idea. these people are just gonna end up defaulting on their loans anyways once the next waive of unemployment hits.
What do we care, it's all free money! The government just prints more when it needs it. No one has to pay for this because the government did. Just like Katrina.
It's bringing in more than it's taking out right now. I hear ya on the loans though...but with stuff like this, they'll just repo the car and re-sell it and make even more money. How do you think JD Byrider stays in business making big bucks? Sell to people who can't afford it for triple the cost, repo the car, repeat.
Gotta spend to make, dude. Not spending on anything other than war didn't work either.
