Stink 247

toggletoggle post by Archaeon at Aug 6,2009 1:33pm
That sounds like something John Dwyer would say.

toggletoggle post by RichHorror  at Aug 6,2009 1:34pm
Yeah that was Dwyer 'humor'.

toggletoggle post by boblovesmusic   at Aug 6,2009 3:04pm

toggletoggle post by FuckIsMySignature at Aug 6,2009 3:08pm
didnt their drummer burn his junk off?

toggletoggle post by arilliusbm  at Aug 6,2009 3:11pm
blink 182, wash-ups. drummer burnt to a crisp as well.
fall out boy - by any means, they are no where close to being worthy of having a band name which was taken from the Simpsons. absolute blasphemy.
Panic - no thanks

This show gets an F- in my book, and Grant get's a whopping 0 for failing out of metal and life and moving down to Hicksville, USA

he can't wait til he gets home, to pass the time in his room alone.

Took literally 4 hours to get there because of traffic I missed P!ATD and got there a few songs into fall out boy. Set was blah as i expected but they played a few aight songs. Pete Wentz is even more dreamy in person. Blink was pretty sweet, Mark's vocals were way to loud and he's not the best singer so it wasnt a good combo.

Also, this was sold out. second biggest show blink has ever played 20,000 people or some shit. Took and hour in half to get out of the parking lot.

The amount of underage tail at this was painful.

I didn't read this thread (I'm hetero, thanks), but I bet this looked like an episode of Teens For Cash with 1/8 the semen.

i went i think i saw the revs girl? i was near the vip ticket booth cause my friend never got her shit. so we couldn't park on vip for free...
i had a seat but just stayed on the lawn the whole time. ummm blink fucked up a lot but whatever.
travis got all tommy lee and fucking did some flying almost upside down drum solo which was cool

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Aug 7,2009 10:35am
yes, xax, you did see my camera there.

toggletoggle post by succubus  at Aug 7,2009 12:50pm
hah! yes i was shooting and honestly had a blast shooting blink
even my nieces teased me for going..but i don't care.
got a lot of money shots and i'm still going through pics now

there was underage tail in the photo pit too...two 12 yr old girls...seriously..

toggletoggle post by xanonymousx at Aug 7,2009 3:54pm
yea those girls were in back of us, they asked my friend if here VIP got her backstage or in the photopit and they basically laughed at us.

I wish I went to this show. Panic At The Disco's 2nd album is awesome. I used to love blink when I was in elementary - middle school and grew out of it, but their self-titled album is actually still damn good in my book.

Yeah, the production on PATD's 2nd album is great, as is the songwriting.

Sounds like they immersed themselves in 60s rock, especially the Beatles, both sonically and musically.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Aug 7,2009 5:17pm
a lot of people backstage got moneyshots too. mostly guys.

yes however the 2 members who were responsible for the "beatles-esque" stuff quit the band..only the singerand drummer are the original members on tour now...they wanted to take the band in a different direction...

Indeed. Their new single blows pretty hard...

But oh well. 1 good album is better than none.

ONLY BRUTAL SICKNESS

the first P!ATD is way better than the second. if i wanted to listen to 60's rock, i would. The first one is a perfect blend of dance/electronics with modern pop-rock music.
