I might go to Mastodon...not a fan of Dethklok, but def dig the other 3

toggletoggle post by Dr. Sphincto at Aug 3,2009 2:53pm
Converge at the House of Blues? Hell Yeah

toggletoggle post by moenli at Aug 3,2009 2:54pm
i dont see whats wrong with that tour...two huge metal bands touring together...OH NO, ONES A CARTOON? Who cares, their fan bases probably arent as far apart as people think. Most of the dates will sell out.

Satyricon and bleeding through? Really? Why? that makes the mastodon/converge show make total sense.

toggletoggle post by boblovesmusic   at Aug 3,2009 2:55pm
Knowing me, I'll probably go to both!

Chthonic rules and I need to see Toxic Holocaust at some point. Satyricon and Bleeding Through will be interesting given they're two different metal styles.

Not crazy about Mastodon, but eh, might as well give them a chance. (Now I'm starting to somewhat regret missing them the last time with Kylesa and Intronaut... oh well)

they don't like you photoing there?

Nnot crazy about Mastodon, but Bleeding Through will be interesting?

wrong, sir. wrong.

As far as the mixed lineups, good, it's metal, who the fuck cares. I think the only bad thing about this is if I wanted to see Satyricon, Chthonic, and Toxic, I have to give money to Bleeding Through also. What the HELL is that.

I'm not about to sign/follow something that says "may not be used online for more than 30 consecutive days". I'm sure I'll have to shoot there at some point, but i hate this house of rules.

Funny jokes are funny....but what is funnier is sensitive metal heads not liking their metal being taken lightly.

If you don't like people/bands that make mockeries of metal, you've got a lot of really good bands to cross off of the list...such as Composted, The Summoned, etc.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Aug 3,2009 3:11pm
composted was on a list in the first place?

toggletoggle post by The_Rooster  at Aug 3,2009 3:11pm
I'm pumped that this is coming to a venue literally one block from my place.

High On Fire fucking rules. I'd like to see Dethklok.

"RELEASE THE KITTIES!!!"

haha.

Oh lighten up.

Metal makes more a mockery of itself than Dethklok ever could.

hahahaha Satyricon and Bleeding Through, that's going to be a horrendous show. pop-"black" metal and complete garbage.

Exactly why there shouldn't be a show about it. Show is one of the most annoying shows on Adult Swim history.

Speaking of weird, be on the lookout for Unearth, Hatebreed and Cannibal Corpse.

So should there not be movies about it too like Spinal Tap?

Fuck me, I still like Satyricon. And Toxic Holocaust is a grand fucking time - particularly with my friend Nick from Phantoms on drums. Looking forward to Worcester and NYC. Bleeding Through can kiss my dick though.
