I am heavy handed with my dogs when I have to be -- but guess what -- when I say "heel" they fucking "heel". Oh and they are hunting labs, not useless fucking pitbulls.

pitbulls are loyal dogs, im not saying that others arent, but pitbulls are treated wrong. i was bit in the face by one when i was 4, but i love them to death. but i do agree that dogs need to be disciplined as with most pets, but pitbulls you cant baby too much. you have to be stern with them. they always get a bad rep because some fucking idiot didnt know how to handle the dog or they abused it so it could fight.

Agreed. Most breeds can be good pets, but you need to discipline them (especially with strong breeds) -- they will respect you more and respond to you better in the end. Dogs need a boss.
