Must be hard as shit to drop what you're doing and go all the way from New Jersey to Rhode Island, right?

they really don't fit this show........at all

toggletoggle post by archaeon at May 16,2009 6:13pm
Who in the hell are these other bands?

I'll probably be at this.

toggletoggle post by tylor  at May 16,2009 6:28pm
mad wiggerish vs. wicked wiggerish

toggletoggle post by keynotecompany nli at May 16,2009 9:53pm
Yeah doors should be later and Scare Don't Fear don't fit, but they'll draw well since it's a home show. $10 adv / $12 doors isn't too bad because WTC does have a decent guarantee. With it being a weekday draw might not be that strong as it could be on a weekend.

toggletoggle post by Pires at May 17,2009 5:04pm
I'm there. Should be fun. With my new job I can finally afford a new new era hat just for this show. And I'll keep the tags on it. I'll probably wear my basketball shorts too.

toggletoggle post by boblovesmusic   at May 17,2009 5:05pm
I'm considering this.

WIGGERFEST 2009

unfortunately its too late to get some dysentery mesh shorts made for this show :(

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jun 1,2009 7:46pm
I'm planning on being there accept the fact that my dog is going to be coming out of sedation around the time that I would have to leave for this show.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Jun 1,2009 7:46pm
holy shit that dog is a smooth operator.

toggletoggle post by Pires at Jun 1,2009 8:43pm

toggletoggle post by BSV at Jun 2,2009 2:03pm
can't make it, all the best to mah familia.

toggletoggle post by brian_dc  at Jun 2,2009 2:14pm
Yeah, I'm gonna go to Trinity for trivia instead.

love you, Blue. Kisses.

toggletoggle post by Pires at Jun 2,2009 3:42pm
Supernerd is you brian.

toggletoggle post by immortal13 at Jun 2,2009 5:56pm
Wish I could make it, but I just got home from work, so I can't exactly justify leaving here for a two hour drive when I'll only be able to see three bands one of which I hate (WTC) and then drive two hours back. Laaame is me.

toggletoggle post by blue  at Jun 2,2009 6:10pm
Just spent an hour driving the horribly congested back roads, trying to avoid the gridlock which is 95. Finally getting back only only to drive another 40 minutes. Fuck me in the fucking ass. There'd better be plenty of pre pubescent scenester ass for me to gawk at.

toggletoggle post by Pires at Jun 2,2009 6:23pm
eating dinner at the local pizza house then heading up. Might stop for coffee. Correction. WILL stop for coffee.

toggletoggle post by blue  at Jun 2,2009 7:30pm
Ok I've seen it all. the band playing is all emoish/deathcorish AND they have a DJ. I think thats the second horseman of the apocalypse.

toggletoggle post by Pires at Jun 2,2009 7:37pm
how much longer until dysentery?I really don't want to sit through all the crap.

toggletoggle post by blue  at Jun 2,2009 7:41pm
We're scheduled to go on at 10.

This sounds really lame and like something that shouldn't be even remotely close to being a part of this show. I think I just died a little inside knowing that bands still use DJs.

toggletoggle post by immortal13 at Jun 2,2009 8:49pm
On a better note, what are the chances of underage handjobs at this show?

toggletoggle post by goatcatalyst   at Jun 2,2009 10:00pm
If this show is anything like the CT Waking The Cadaver / Composted show- SOMEONE best be gettin their prick tugged by somethin nice

toggletoggle post by brian_dc  at Jun 2,2009 11:24pm
all parties involved will have dicks

The band was called Damsel In Distress. Apparently they label themselves as grindcore band...

toggletoggle post by boblovesmusic   at Jun 3,2009 1:04am
Other than that band, the rest of the show was pretty fun and awesome. Dysentery ruled and threw down the slamz. Waking the Cadaver was better than I was expecting. Definitely would see them again.

toggletoggle post by SteveSummoned   at Jun 3,2009 3:02am
Little tid-bit. The lead vocalist of Damsel In Distress used to be the vocalist of The Departed.

and the drummer played in Dour Cursiva....sigh

Eric is actually a really good guy. I just don't share his tastes.

toggletoggle post by brian_dc  at Jun 3,2009 8:53am
however, I think the band with the DJ would have been Scare Don't Fear

toggletoggle post by BrianDBB  at Jun 3,2009 9:10am
This was pretty sweet actually. The Summoned ripped it up good. WTC's singer had a hissy fit since no one was moshing and literally hucked his gallon of water at us! Hey... sorry that kids aren't "pitting" on a Tuesday but good times though. And were there cameras for a Dysentery DVD perhaps? Dysentery definitely killed.

Scare Don't Fear actually didn't play that night. Damsel In Distress was the one who had a DJ. He basically just did sounds clips and stuff.

toggletoggle post by DrewBlood@Work at Jun 3,2009 6:16pm
it was a fun show last night, but i am very sore today. i really liked the new WTC songs and their two new guitarists.

toggletoggle post by goatcatalyst   at Jun 3,2009 6:33pm
Bless my fuck, did anyone else see the fucking Tom Clancy of a character assassination Metal Inquisition just waged on WTC's vocalist? Ruthless.

+1 for the inclusion of the Nocturnus Time Machine (tm)

Quote of the night from Waking The Cadaver:

"Don't just stand there with your arms crossed and be like "I'm so internet forum""

All I could think of was RTTP & 4chan and couldn't stop laughing.

toggletoggle post by Pires at Jun 3,2009 10:45pm
yeah me and blue had a good time with that quote. It was so true!

toggletoggle post by goatcatalyst   at Jun 3,2009 10:47pm
HOW WAS THE ASS???

toggletoggle post by keynotecompany nli at Jun 3,2009 11:52pm
Did it draw well?
I was thinking about booking WTC in the future, but they cost more than I thought they would draw in. Unfortunately I couldn't make the show.

The turnout wasn't THAT great but one should consider it was a Tuesday night which is a terrible night for shows.

toggletoggle post by Pires at Jun 4,2009 7:00am
there were more people for dysentery. Also I showed up 3 hrs late because the openers were atrocious. Book better bands for better draw.

Did the singer of WTC try to sell anyone beauty products?
