GWAR signs back to Metal Blade Records, announces upcoming album, track listing, and plans to take over the world!
Let the world tremble! Metal Blade Records and Slave Pit Inc. have joined forces again to announce the re-signing of the mighty GWAR…here we see Metal Blade Owner & CEO Brian Slagel and GWAR lead singer Oderus Urungus holding the carefully crafted document that spells DOOM for the human race. Untold legions of slaves are already laboring without pause to prepare the world for the first release in what shall go down in history as the most savage GWAR assault upon the human race to date! Ready the butchers block! Lust in Space, the new album from GWAR, out in August on Metal Blade Records!

I'm surprised this didn't happen sooner. When I talked to Gwar 2 years ago they were very vocal about how much they hated their label, and I didn't even ask them about it. I'm pretty sure it went something like this. "We are a god damned cash cow. Why the fuck can't our label do anything. Gene Simmons help!!"
