fucking bullshit. McKenzie (3rd round draft pick) suffered a knee injury during mini camp the other day. Guess what, torn ACL.

Jason Taylor, here we come

............*sigh*

toggletoggle post by xmikex at May 6,2009 3:24pm
BOOOOOOOOOOO!

I think our only option without signing Taylor would be if Appleby proves to be a viable option this year at ILB (which is highly unlikely for an undrafted rookie right away), then temporarily move Guyton to the outside

....but yea, looks like Taylor will be the way they go

MAN, I wish they had the cap room for Peppers...that'd be perfect

What ever happened to Shawn Crable, wasn't he in a similar situation last year? Are we gonna have him on the roster for 09?

toggletoggle post by RustyPS  at May 6,2009 3:30pm
wow, I totally forgot about Crable....lol

hmmmm....maybe Crable, TBC, and Woods can be your "OLB by committee"

toggletoggle post by ouchdrummer   at May 6,2009 3:33pm
i have no idea what the two acronyms in the last statement stand for.

toggletoggle post by RustyPS  at May 6,2009 3:34pm
TBC = Tully Banta Cain

OLB = outside linebacker

toggletoggle post by ouchdrummer   at May 6,2009 3:35pm
oh, i guess i forgot to mention that I also don't really care.... But thanks for explaining em to me, i appreciate ti.

toggletoggle post by Mattkings at May 6,2009 4:09pm
I'm gonna say Shawn Crable

toggletoggle post by Dankill at May 6,2009 7:19pm
Crable will be in, plus I would not be shocked at all to see Taylor in a Pats uniform this season.

Jason Taylor doesn't sound THAT bad. At least we would have a good veteran on the line. Obviously, we need the young guns but the Pats need all they can get.

you make it sound like they have a bad team....they're stacked at almost every position on both sides of the ball

It seems like every year we have an aging linebacker core and the injuries to that section are really frustrating.

toggletoggle post by RustyPS  at May 6,2009 9:30pm
if you look at the Pats roster, and ignore the fact that Seau and Colvin are still listed as being on the team (which they're not), the only LBs over 30 years old are Bruschi and Thomas

and everyone faces injuries...you just have to get lucky and not get as many as other teams
