New site? Maybe some day.
when the admiral is the worst player in a HOF class, that's a good year. |
totally true. basketball in the mid 90's was epic. now it tastes like day old budweiser, but wtf, it will due. |
jordan? really? his numbers arent really hof worthy.. complete flash in the pan. fad. |
the nikes did all the work for him. he just stuck his tongue out and made sure the ball didn't slip out of his hands. |
also, he deserves an asterisk for playing in the gatorade era |
"John... don't look now, but we're the only 2 white guys here!" |

good point sir air jordans and gatorade were the steroids of 92. |
I hope you're joking. Jordan was definitely the best bball player of the late 80s to mid 90s.
one thing I HATE about Lebron is that he chose the number 23. It's one thing to idolize a player growing up, it's another to disrespect him by taking his number when you're supposedly the "next Jordan."
Fuck Lebron, I'd take Jordan over him any day. |
I'm guessing some people forgot to use the Sarcasm Meter |

Show me ANY proof of that and ill buy you a coke. |
Tell me who was better than him. For someone his size and for his position, he was the best.
Obviously you can't compare C's to SG's, etc. |
No sarcasm meter = no joke.

Actually, honestly, Karl Malone might take the cake, but it's like comparing apples and oranges. |
mike jordan was the best of his era. i think his 6 championships go a long way in proving that. i know championships aren't the only measure of greatness. |

dude there was PLENTY of people on the white sox better then him. |
I guess I'll ask this then since I know you're joking:
Lebron or MJ? |
mj, although i don't think lebby has reached his ceiling yet. |
Jordan, but Lebron is nowhere close to his prime yet, so we'll see someday. |
I think once Lebron hits 30ish, he'll start getting knee problems. I remember hearing/reading that his style of play + his size will take a toll on his body and he'll start getting major injuries after 30.
I still don't like how he took 23. Just like Kobe has 24. What's that supposed to mean, he's the NEXT Jordan?! |
so do you not like any players with 23 as a number? |
Players that know they're going to be a superstar and take 23. I can understand if you want to honor your idol, but at least leave his number alone. Not too sure why it irks me like it does, but it does. only because Lebron has the potential to be the best (or nearly the best) basketball player that ever lived.
Think about it, 40 years from now our kids will be asking "which 23 are you talking about? Jordan or Lebron?" |
eh, I don't care about that at all really |
I guess it's a conservative view of the game haha |
