Woah, didn't expect that.

I don't know how much I like the clean vocals. Not the fact that there are cleans, though.
The melodies are a little on the stagnant side when compared to the music going on behind them. Plus, they happen so often that they kind of cease to be special.

I'm not crazy 'bout the cleans either (Similar sentiment. Although I don't know if it's necessarily the melodies I have issue with as much as the blandness of the person's voice in general)

i like em. they might be a little too high in the mix.. if they were scaled back just a bit i think they might settle right in there and be snug as a bug in a rug.. listen to the scream vocals and they are back in the mix more than the cleans... let those guitar melodies get some face time.. and that's coming from a vocalsfag.

a metal band with clean singing is more subject to criticality,especially on a metal board consisting mainly of people in bands without clean singing. It either works or it doesn't and the end result is much more critical. Two critical responses arent the end of the world, plus anyone can growl in key.
