my skills have totally went out the window. i used to play Q3A all the time. Used to be johnny wendels dueling buddy. Then he went pro and I switched to counter-strike.

its there kakahead. you either have to filter through the search or just find it. they have every game mode from DM to FFA to Clan Arena to Instagib

Oh nice. I didn't even search the options. I could probably enable it in the console anyway now that I think of it. I used to always dick around in the console. Q3a engine is awesome. I used to always write little scripts and shit.

Also... did you guys do the tutorial before the little qualifying match? What's up with the 3rd little "challenge" where you have to run fast through the door? I assume I'm supposed to strafe jump my way over there in time?

Yea I did that. Its mostly for practice but that match against crash(the bot) is to assign a skill level to you. This skill level changes the more you play online and the better or worse you do against real players. Its all to help you find games with people around the same skill as you so you don't get stuck dueling voO
