NEWS UPDATE - NUMBER TWO NUMBER ONE:

So, at 12 noon yesterday, I woke up and took the first pill-and-powder meal.

Here we have the kit.




3 "meals" of one package of powder (kind of like Metamucil on crack) and two pills each, to be consumed at semiregular intervals over 18 hours.

Now, technically, you have three options as far as food goes: a) just eat whatever like you normally would, b) eat oatmeal and soup and shit, or c) tough it out and not eat for 24 hours. Now, a doesn't seem like it'd be worth it, and fuck c, so I went with b.

... and some several-days-left-over hot and sour soup for dinner.




And then waited. For seriously the entire day, I didn't have so much as gas, never mind the fecal blitzkrieg I had been expecting. This was doubly surprising, seeing as I had been drinking like a degenerate and eating fast food for two days straight. Turns out this isn't like eating a fuckton of laxative - I felt like I couldn't have shit if my life depended on it. Lookng at the package, it says 18 hours 'til "first release," and sure enough the next morning I woke up confident and with reading material in hand. The results:




Loafy and Jurassic is what I'd have to call it. Definitely a formidable mass, but this isn't the crazy tar rope shit - that I'm expecting later. We'll see what develops - I have a feeling we'll get some action tonight or tomorrow morning. (I'll be back on coffee tomorrow, so I'd say that's a sure thing.)

I should add that the package says to expect the "real deal" in about 48 hours from start.
