Why is it that a lot of bands steal their names from songs title.. Are they to lazy to just think of a good one.... Sick of it!

sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. example, Godflesh has used lyrics and song titles to name some of their own, Streetcleaner, Songs of Love and Hate, Avalanche Master Song, those are taken from other bands.

I dunno, i love the name "Boarcorpse", and as MANY of you have told me MANY times, ya'll think it's stupid. Really stupid even... I believe i've even heard "it's the most stupid name ever". But I love it, so does my band, so it's really up to each's own opinion.

i was thinking about the name "godsmack" the other day, after my friend laughed at me for not knowing it was an AIC song, and then i realized they meant GOD-SMACK...like super duper dope.
