AD.RttP{Guitar player looking to start/join band}

well mr. anonymous, whoever you are, you should come to a Boarcorpse practice and see what we have in the works. We do have songs, but only really 4 and a half, and we are looking for another guitar player. Not just to add to what we have/learn parts already written, but to write independant, counterpoint oriented parts. We are looking for someone to contribute to the overall style as much as you probably would starting a new band, we like what we are doing, but think we need another guitar player to write an equal portion of the riffs in order to get more depth. We are openminded, dedicated, talented, and responsible. Have a basically free REALLY nice practice space. (my apartment, i manage the south boston sound museum and live in it) I assume your reasons for wanting to start a new band is to make sure you will have equal creative-directional input, and i assure you, we are looking for someone to contribute this to our band. Anyways, don't want to come off as begging or something, you might suck. haha, anyways, i only say all this because we REALLY want someone who has the desire to have that much influence over the writting, as we all think that another person with their own opinions/style will add what we need to have the right texture. The stuff we have online is terribly recorded, and was only done when we first were putting those songs together, they are all between 15-30bpm faster now, much tighter, and have had a lot of fine tuning.

If this rediculas rant of mine, or what bands i list that we sound like interests you at all, shoot me a pm, or an email ouchdrummer@gmail.com and come to a practice. Can't hurt, even if it sounds remotely like what you want to do. Anyways, here's a shot at describing what we are doing so far. (obviously using other bands to describe your own is not preferable, but sans a good recording it's the best way to see if your interested enough to come to a practice.)

A lot of parts resemble the tech-death style of decapitated. There are polymetric rhythms that resemble meshuggah, but more aggressive, and less stoner. There are feels that resemble the thrashyer-blasty parts of the first faceless album, and there is a good amount of black metal style parts in the vain of gorgorath. I know this description isn't fantastic, but it's the best i can do, because i honestly believe we DON"T sound like any bands from around here. (i know that everyone says that, but i really believe it.)

And again, i know this post is silly, but we are dying to get another good player bringing some strong creative input on the guitar, and i think most people that would fit this description would rather start a band as opposed to joining one so that they would have that input.
