It's Brian Izzi from December Wolves new band playing swedish death metal influenced hardcore.

Shit, I wish I knew about this sooner.

toggletoggle post by the_reverend   at Oct 21,2008 3:05pm
not just any hardcore, but every intense and in your face hardcore.
Defeater's CD is good. weird but good. it's like um.. grungey hardcore.

"October 21th."

I'm just making fun of the flyer because I'm bitter that I cannot be at this show.

mark: I saw and thought "oh,the 24th"

Dead ends: not bad. Hardcore music. Some good parts for people to sing along, but there wasn't really too many people on then.

Defeater: members of 11/5/55. I thought that's who was setting up before I got the scoop. This band is way way too good to be on second place at this show. The 30-40 people in the room need to mark themselves totally lucky. This reminds me of the first time I saw the carrier with 10 people in the room. You shall find the audience doubling at each of their future shows. I came to this show for trap them cause I didn't know defeater was playing. Had I, they would have been the reason that I came out. The CD is excellent, but it comes across a bit more pussy on CD than when it's pummeling you in the face.

Pictures look great Rev!

Defeater sounds sweet, checked the myspace and though the music lends itself to a production with a little more depth,, perhaps even an analog-type, the songs are sweet. Drummer sounds fierce.
