Hey guys, a drummer, screamer, and shredder are in search of another guitarist and possibly a bassist for making some intense riff-based black metal (think Immortal, Emperor) with some epic (think Bathory, Summoning) and thrashy (think Impaled Nazarene, Absu) elements. We came together late last February and have played well-received shows at the wheelchair and Ralph’s. We have a good amount of material but now that we’re down a guitarist and bassist we’re looking for a little change in sound.

We’re open to a lot of different playing styles. Finding your way in and out of blastbeats is a must though, and while there are time changes, there’s nothing technical. You don’t need to be a super shredder; our guitarist does enough of that.

We’re in our early twenties. We have a secure practice space in Worcester. Just looking for what every band is looking for:

-Your own decent gear. Doesn’t have to be anything fancy. This is black metal.
-Ability to make it to practice a couple set nights a week, for a couple hours.
-Can contribute to expenses (read: has a job) which really just consists of rent.
-Your girlfriend is more than welcome to hang out. Just come to practice.
-Only alcohol and pot welcome (encouraged). No hard drugs.
-Willing to travel around the northeast to play shows whenever we get to that point.

worcester is a little stretch for most people in the boston area.
I'd ask around for you too but I don't think many people want to drive to worcester to practice

be patient. It's a noble endeavor. Just keep the word out, you will find people. This is wisdom.

oh yeah i know, but i know that people from all around will see it, and this isn't a last-ditch effort by any means. we're focusing on practicing and writing now, and working on getting a decent recording out there, in no real hurry to add to the lineup..i know we'll find someone eventually, especially when we have a recording to toss around..

i should add, we have a new member doing "live sound engineering/sound generation" adding sparse atmosphere and ambient sounds and some very sparse keyboard stuff using computer software, synth mods, etc. sounding badass. how's that for being kvlt.

spot is open, like i said above it's a couple times a week for a couple hours, longer sessions sometimes when everyone has time (rarely haha)
