I think Obama is stupid.

Not primally stupid, like someone with a low IQ, but not intelligent, either.

He knows how to work a crowd -- he is eloquent, sort of, but not a great orator by any means.

He promises unrealistic things and has no intention of fulfilling them -- there will be someone to blame.

He taps into his audience's emotions really well, and knows exactly what to say to make them feel smart, but I'm not sure I'd claim he's smart.

McCain... has a more practical kind of intelligence, though he is a god-awful public speaker and is equally terrible at knowing why he does things.

Again, Ron Paul is a better option. Dennis Kucinich isn't bad either. I would argue either one of them is smarter than Obama, McCain and Biden combined.
