after I posted that, their next talk back wasn't too bad. When ever I listen to WUML/WJUL since around 97 I think to myself "do they even have a chief announcer to monitor these djs?"

Being a past WUML DJ, i can tell you that we're required to read 2 PSA's over the air every hour. I usually read spanish ones because it was funny.
i will agree with everyone talking at the same time, gets annoying after a while
