Coppola hasn't always turned out the most amazing films, but this fucker is BY FAR my favorite movie of all time.
Wouldn't the writer have as much to do with the quality of the movie as the director?
Interesting argument, but the film's screenplay was written by Coppola, and in addition to directing the film, he also produced it. I believe all credit is well deserved.
