Just got a crown coupled with massive drilling this morning. Novacaine (sp?) just wore off and HOLY CHRIST ON A FUCKING STICK it hurts like a fucker!!!! They told me to take Ibuprofen -- ADVIL IS RAVIOLIS!!!! Luckily stronger things await me at home...

i feel ya dude, i have to go in for root canals in 2 different teeth in a month or two.

Tooth and eyeball pain are the worst types of pain. Thank the fucking lord I go to the dentist 2x a year. No dental insurance though. Add wallet pain to the aforementioned worst types of pain.

ya know, that is the worst part, i brush my teeth before bed every night, and every day when i wake up.
pre-rinse with peroxide, and rinse and gargle with listerine.
and i still have two teeth rotting out of my head.

Some people just have genetically bad teeth -- I had a friend like that, he brushed and flossed and rinsed and they still rotted out of his head.

I have a crooked molar all the way in the back that keeps getting cavities no matter what I do -- finally the dentist just said fuck it and went for the crown. I really hope it stops with the sharp pain and throbbing -- fucking sucks. Luckily, I had some Perc 30s I just procured -- a half of one up the old nose did wonders!

I have genetically bad teeth. plus I shatter teeth all the time. ALL THE TIME. I had to have a couple crowns in the back cause every time I went to the dentist they had to repair the 4 teeth all the way in the back. I even shattered a porcelain crown and had to get it replaced TWICE. I currently have only 3 crowns with I think 4 more that I "need" to get, but haven't yet.

with all that said, I brush my teeth almost every single time I drive and they still break/decay.

i brush my teeth once a day. sometimes in the morning, sometimes at night. i don't floss, i dont gargle. i dont get routine cleanings. i basically don't give a shit about my teeth.

When i went to get my wisdoms out the oral surgeon said "well you've got 1 cavity, but its in one of your wisdom teeth which is coming out anyway, the rest of your teeth are perfect."

i had perfect teeth until my mid 20's. then suddenly it was a cavity or 2 every time i went to the dentist. and i brush floss etc. regularly. i think i have 8 fillings now (one done without novacaine, which was awesome) and had one root canal. btw, i don't see what all the fuss about a root canal is. the pain before the procedure was agony. during and after was like heaven.

I have to get 4 fillings the end of september.

I sort of like having root canals. they don't hurt and my surgeon is a meastro at it. plus all he talks about is wh's touching his assistant's boobs and they use a dental damn so I feelrsee nothing. and when they are burning the nerve, is smells pleasing like black liquorish

i only had mouth surgery once, and i'll never do it again. otherwise i was born with perfect teeth, even my wisdom teeth grew in 100% perfect. no braces either.

So, I went back on Tuesday to get temp. crown off and perm. crown on -- due to excess pain in the process, it looks like I need a root canal! 3pm today...

I just went to the dentist for the first time in 12 years. Only one cavity and they had to replace an old filling that had fallen out. For some reason the tooth hurts worse now than it did with the missing filling.
I think that's the last time I go to a chick dentist. The dentist I made the appt. with was out so instead I got some chinky chick and I don't think she knew what the fuck she was doing. I should've ran out of there as soon as a I saw her. I mean they can't even drive, how the fuck can they drill teeth?

the only thing I ever snorted was special k. every time, it would be great for the first 2-3 times. after that, it was like a chore getting rid of it. I'm glad that stuff isn't around anymore for me. tasted terrible.

Dude, special K = Ketamine = animal tranquilizers = FAIL. I've done that shit too and it is nasty. Snorting pain killers (though slightly scummy) is much more pleasant. Just make sure you never snort something cut with acetiminaphin (sp?) -- that's unpleasant.

Root canal part 2 today -- I have to go back because the tooth was so inflamed he couldn't get it all done it one shot. I am not looking forward to this -- part 1 was worse than the vasectomy.

So the root canal turned into a double extraction -- molar and wisdom. I am currently FAIL.

But he did prescribe more Vics, and that is WIN.

I went today and got my mouth raped. I need a crown myself, one of my molars fractured. YAY!

you could get the purest of the pure without any of that fake painkilling junk (tylenol/aspirin). pharmaceudicals are dreamy.

When I was a junior in high school, a cavity I had gotten filled about 8 months prior ruptured and caused swelling in my face over the course of the week. I had to go to a periodontist and get an emergency root canal, that shit was ass.

It's even worse when you try and break up a fight and end up with your front teeth knocked out. Screws in your upper gums hurt much more than any crown I've ever had. With 3 root canals included. I stayed positive by singing "all I want for christmas is my 2 front teeth" on the way to the hospital. I got them eventually.

The molar came out pretty easily, but the wisdom tooth -- holy fucking christ on a stick! Back at work, just ate one vic sitting at my desk.

Yeah, you need to like lose a limb before they prescribe you percs. Once in awhile I can obtain perc 30s -- pure percoset, cut with nothing. Snorting one of those would put anyone on their ass.

I have yet to have a root canal that took more than one time.

My last boss at work had an abscess. I guess they cleaned out the hole and then make it into a pool of blood, then put in a chunk of bone from a cadaver which grew into the socket. then they shaped it and drilled a screw into it.

I'm going to go ask him what part of the dead person it was and if he's going to grow a femur out of his mouth.

I just wish that he pulled the teeth to begin with rather than wasting time on the root canal. I didn't have to pay for the root canal, but I already paid for the crown -- which is now completely useless.

That cadaver bone thing is pretty fucked up.
