New site? Maybe some day.

Goddamn car started to stall yesterday, today it would barely start and continued stalling. Had to bring it to a Nissan center today (was afraid it was a recall problem). Only $300 to fix but I nearly had a heart attack as I am dead poor from buying a guitar/amp and school is starting in a couple weeks. It's not a new car, 2002 Altima SE 3.5, but still thought it wouldn't have any problems yet.
Crankshaft sensor or something, I swear to christ if it starts stalling again I am opening fire with a machine gun at work. |

I have a helmet attached to my head permanently |

welcome to my world, son...my car made me miss NEDF |

by Nissan center do you mean the dealership? |
|
Were about to have a 400 dollar repair ourselves, weak. |
|
wow you guys are all lucky. i've never had a major repair done on my car that was less than 1200 dollars or so. |
|

Yeah a random ass dealership since mine is like 45 minutes away.
I've had some expensive repairs. I had to buy this car because my transmission bottomed out and exploded in front of Brockton High in January. |

There's your problem right there. |

No it isn't, but the only engines and trannies nissan produces mainstream are french/us made garbage. |
|
So Japanese build quality doesn't really come into play. |

yeah... the CA18DET, SR20, RB25 and RB26 are french/USA made garbage engines that APPARENTLY a lot of people want and buy to swap into their Corolla, 240sx, 240z, 260z, 280z, 300zx (first and second gen) and so forth and so on. the CA18 and SR20 are hugely popular and were in cars Nissan made for a long time. hell... even the pulsar (american one) had an SR20. |
|
